CONTRACT AGREEMENT <br />STATEMENT <br />Psomas has read the City of Santa Ana's <br />Standard Agreement and concurs with all <br />provisions as contained in the Agreement <br />provided in the Appendix section of the RFP <br />as Attachment 2. <br />C. FIRM AND TEAM <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Firm Profile <br />Dedicated to balancing the natural and built <br />environment, Psomas provides sustainably <br />engineered solutions to public and private <br />clients. Psomas, a California Corporation, was <br />founded in 1946 and has grown from a single <br />Los Angeles location to 15 offices in California, <br />Arizona, and Utah. Psomas has expanded to <br />a multifaceted consulting firm with over 595 <br />employees, providing our core services of <br />engineering, environmental, survey and mapping, <br />and construction management. <br />The Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Group <br />within Psomas is comprised of 18 professional, <br />technical and administrative staff located in two <br />Southern California offices. Engineering services <br />for this on -call contract will be provided from our <br />Santa Ana office by our staff of 10 people. <br />The Psomas Team offers all the necessary <br />expertise and experience to provide on -call <br />professional engineering services to support <br />the City of Santa Ana. In addition to the key <br />personnel who demonstrate proficiency in the <br />water and wastewater profession, Psomas has <br />in-house surveyors, construction managers and <br />environmental specialists to support these types <br />of projects. We have supplemented our in-house <br />capabilities with subconsultants in the areas of <br />structural, architectural, electrical, landscape <br />architecture, geotechnical, flow monitoring, <br />hydrogeology, grant writing, recycled water, and <br />potholing. Psomas has worked closely with this <br />team of subconsultants on numerous projects. <br />Demonstrated Record of Success <br />For over 15 years Psomas has been providing <br />engineering design and planning services to <br />the City of Santa Ana for water and wastewater <br />systems. From the rehabilitation of aging <br />infrastructure to the design of new systems, <br />Psomas' strength is in providing economical <br />solutions that minimize impacts to residents and <br />the environment, as well as minimizing costs to <br />City rate payers. Our project experience includes <br />pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, reservoirs, <br />pressure force mains, and gravity sewer pipelines. <br />Key Personnel Qualifications <br />We have assembled a Project Team that is <br />well suited to the specific requirements of this <br />contract, headed by our primary point of contact <br />and Project Manager, Maira Salcedo, PE, MACP, <br />PACP, ENV SP. Ms. Salcedo has extensive <br />recent experience with water facilities, such as <br />pump stations, wells and pipelines, as well as <br />sewer replacement and rehabilitation projects. <br />She is highly familiar with the City of Santa <br />Ana staff and design criteria, having served as <br />Assistant Project Manager for the City's Walnut <br />Pump Station Upgrade project and Project <br />Manager for Well 29 Rehabilitation of project. <br />Maira has recently completed sewer <br />rehabilitation/replacement projects for the City <br />of Hermosa Beach and Rossmoor/Los Alamitos <br />Area Sewer District, and is currently serving <br />as District Engineer, on a consulting basis, for <br />Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Area Sewer District. <br />P S 0 M A S aF' r I ' 11 1J0 cry of siaia a,,, <br />
