13128-01 JHHW:BDQ:JHE 7/18/96 <br /> $27,725,000 <br /> COUNTYWIDE PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY <br /> 1996 REVENUE BONDS <br /> WRITTEN REQUEST OF THE AUTHORITY TO TRUSTEE <br /> The undersigned hereby states and certifies: <br /> (i) that he is the duly appointed, qualified and acting Treasurer of the Countywide <br /> Public Financing Authority,a joint powers authority duly organized and existing under the laws <br /> of the State of California (the "Authority"), and as such, is familiar with the facts herein <br /> certified and is authorized and qualified to certify the same; <br /> (ii) that he is a duly designated "Authorized Representative" of the Authority,as such <br /> term is defined in that certain Indenture of Trust, dated as of July 1, 1996 (the "Indenture"), by <br /> and between U.S. Trust Company of California, N.A., as trustee (the "Trustee") and the <br /> Authority; and <br /> (iii) that, pursuant to Section 3.01 of the Indenture, the Trustee is requested to <br /> authenticate the bonds issued by the Authority designated "Countywide Public Financing <br /> Authority 1996 Revenue Bonds", dated July 31, 1996, in the aggregate principal amount of <br /> $27,725,000 (the "Bonds"), substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A to the Indenture, and <br /> to deliver the Bonds to or upon the order of Stone & Youngberg LLC, as underwriter (the <br /> "Underwriter"), upon receipt on the date hereof by the Trustee of the purchase price of the <br /> Bonds pursuant to the Bond Purchase Agreement, dated July 16, 1996, by and between the <br /> Underwriter,and the Authority. <br /> Dated: July 31, 1996 COUNTYWIDE PUBLIC FINANCING <br /> AUTHORITY <br /> Ro end< R oloma, <br /> Treas er <br />
