SECTION II. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />CDBG, HOME, ESG, CalHome Programs Administration and Implementation Experience <br />MDG Associates, Inc. is comprised of individuals with a wide variety of expertise including the services <br />specifically requested by the City. Currently, MDG has twenty-eight (28) staff members. Thirteen (13) of <br />the 28 staff members are knowledgeable and experienced in the administration of HUD's CPD <br />Programs. As grant management consultants, MDG assists with the overall administration of the <br />programs, including CDBG, HOME, ESG, and the CalHome Programs in addition to projects funded <br />under these Programs, as well as the monitoring of subrecipients and capital improvement projects for <br />compliance with Davis -Bacon Act requirements. <br />MDG and its affiliate LDM are currently under contract to administer or assist in the overall <br />administration of CDBG, HOME and/or ESG Programs with the cities of Apple Valley, Azusa, Carson, <br />Claremont, Commerce, Corona, Downey, Duarte, Fontana, Hawthorne, Hesperia, Irvine, La Canada <br />Flintridge, La Habra, Monrovia, Newport Beach, Paramount, Palmdale, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, <br />Temecula, Upland, Walnut and Whittier. Seventeen (17) of these cities are HUD entitlement cities and <br />seven (7) are participating cities under the Los Angeles County Development Authority. In recent years, <br />MDG has served the cities of Baldwin Park, Riverside and Santa Ana on specific tasks such as IDIS <br />input, project monitoring, federal labor standards (Davis -Bacon) compliance monitoring, preparation of <br />Consolidated Plan/Action Plan, and preparation of Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation <br />Report(CAPER). <br />In addition, MDG currently provides technical assistance to other entities who are providing technical <br />assistance and capacity building for the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery <br />(CDBG-R) program nationwide. <br />25A-21 ; ,� <br />
