DISCUSS AND CONSIDER DIRECTING CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE A <br />REPORT ON CITYWIDE WI-FI/INTERNET AVAILABILITY AND SERVICE PROVIDER <br />PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES THAT LACK INTERNET <br />ACCESS - Councilmember Sarmiento <br />Clerk of the Council, Daisy Gomez, reported out on correspondence received for Item <br />85C. <br />Direct City Manager Kristine to continue having conversations with Superintendent Jerry <br />Almendarez and his staff to work with the internet carriers and return to council with a <br />permanent plan using Orange County COVID-19 funds to provide affordable citywide <br />WiFi. <br />85D. DISCUSS AND CONSIDER DIRECTING CITY MANAGER TO UTILIZE CITY <br />ACCESSIBLE DIGITAL BOARDS TO SEND CONGRATULATORY MESSAGING TO <br />ALL THOSE 2020 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES IN OUR CITY - Councilmember <br />Iglesias <br />City Manager Kristine Ridge announced that all 2020 graduates in the community will be <br />digitally congratulated via the digital boards the city has access to.
