<br /> BASIC CITY COUNCIL MEETING INFORMATION <br />Agenda & Materials - The agenda titles provide the public with a list of items to be considered by the Council broken down <br />into four categories: Presentations, Consent Calendar, Business Calendar and Public Hearings. Presentations are <br />ceremonial. Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and may be enacted by one motion <br />without discussion unless a member of the Council “pulls” an item(s) for a separate vote. Business Calendar and <br />Public Hearing items are considered individually. Additional information of the various categories on the agenda is <br />found on the “Understanding Your City Council Meeting Agenda” pamphlet. The Council is not limited in any way by <br />the “Recommended Action” and may take any action which the council deems to be appropriate on an agenda item. <br />Except as otherwise provided by law, no action shall be taken on any item not listed on the agenda. All staff reports <br />and any non-confidential writings or documents provided to a majority of the City Council members regarding any <br />item on this agenda are available for public inspection posted on the City’s website the Friday before a Council <br />meeting at santa-ana.org/city-meetings and City Hall kiosk. <br /> <br /> In accordance with California Governor’s Executive Order N-25-20 regarding the Brown Act and guidance from the <br />California Department of Public Health on gatherings, please note the following changes: <br />Public Comments <br />ON AGENDA ITEMS: Comments for a specific item on the agenda will be accepted by EMAIL ONLY and viewable on santa- <br />ana.org/city-meetings. The City Clerk will announce a report in support of or opposition to the item.
