Salas, Diana
From: Ricki Older <faolder2013@gmail.com>
Sent: Tuesday, May 19, 2020 1:46 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Wireless blight
Our city was wise enough in 1928 to put the electrical wires for our street lighting underground for a beautiful
neighborhood. Surely we are wise enough in 2020 to realize that type of wiring and equipment on our main
streets are incredibly distasteful visually.
Think carefully about how we want to bring something that will be with us for the next 50 years. Many of the
older neighborhoods at least have Street poles in the backyards so the blight does not have to be in the public
vision.
I request that you plan another option than what you have put before us so far. It is unattractive and demeaning
to our neighborhoods.
Respectfully submitted past president Wilshire Square neighborhood President and ETAC boardmember
