I am also a homeschool <br />educator. <br />It has been very clear to in my 40 years of living in this city that the police are no longer helping most of us. <br />They profile us walking two blocks home from a local restaurant. They side with a grown woman verbally <br />assaulting me and my family and defend her as she grabs and bruises my then 7 yr old daughter at a public <br />cultural event. <br />ENOUGH IS ENOUGh. <br />What we desperately need is funding that empowers and uplifts our residents.
