We do not need such a huge portion of our city's <br />budget going towards the unnecessary surveillance and suppression of our people. Further funding of <br />the Santa Ana PD will only lead to an increase of the destructive school-to-prison pipeline that we <br />adamantly need to end in our community for the betterment of Black, Latinx, and other people of <br />color. <br /> <br />In order to keep our communities safe, we re-investment in need housing, economic and legal <br />assistance, youth programs, and funding our of schools.
