Ultimately, AB 11 was held in policy <br />committee; SB 5 was vetoed by Governor Newsom; <br />and, AB 1482 was signed into law. <br />Housing First Program <br />Support legislation that expands <br />(HK) In close coordination with cities from across the <br />funding for the Housing First Model <br />country and the National Alliance to End <br />to provide permanent housing for <br />Homelessness, HK has been at the forefront of <br />individuals that are homeless. <br />legislative efforts to provide critically needed <br />supportive services and permanent housing to <br />address homelessness. HK also advocated in coalition for sustaining <br />the Homeless Assistance Grants at $2.777 billion. <br />Housing Choice Program <br />Support passing of FY 2018 <br />(HK) On vouchers, HK is working with the chair of <br />Access <br />appropriations bill with full funding <br />the House Financial Services Committee on <br />for the Housing Choice Voucher <br />legislation to provide housing, case management <br />Program and the program's <br />and social services, including new Special Purpose <br />administrative fees. <br />Section 8 Housing Choice vouchers.
