HK will work with the City's <br />congressional delegation to advocate that this <br />legislation is included if an infrastructure package <br />moves forward. <br />(TPA) Monitored AB 659 (Mullin), which would have <br />created the California Smart City Challenge Grant <br />Program, through which local governments could <br />compete for funding to adopt and implement emerging <br />transportation technologies that achieve a number of <br />specified transportation, economic and environmental <br />goals. Ultimately, AB 659 was held in the Assembly <br />Appropriations Committee due to cost concerns. <br />Youth Prevention <br />Support legislation and <br />(HK) HK has joined in support of juvenile justice <br />Programs <br />grant programs that have <br />programs, which has seen an increase in funding from <br />the potential to reduce <br />$287 million to $320 million.
