The additional money being offered for only a 6 month deferment is <br />an insult to the tax paying residents of Santa Ana. I suggest the city demands a deferment with no additional money <br />given out. If the city is truly in a deficit, everyone should be taking cuts, not asking for more money. That includes the <br />police department. It is only fair they contribute equally to the budget cuts. Demanding even more money in this time is <br />disrespectful, and is another reason their reputation with the community is dreadful.
