We urge you to restore full <br />funding for the city's Deportation Defense Fund at the level of $200,000 in this FY <br />2o2o-21 budget. During the first reading of the city's budget on June 16th, the council approved <br />$1oo,000, half of the budget for the program. <br />The program provides critical immigration legal defense to Santa Ana residents facing detention and <br />deportation.
