I am submitting a public comment for agenda item 65D in support of the renewal of the <br />Deportation Defense Fund at its current level of $200,000. 1 demand that the city council continue providing protection <br />to Santa Ana residents facing detention and deportation as they are the community too. They are your residents too. <br />How dare you consider cutting funding to a segment of our population that is disproportionately carrying out essential <br />work that sustains all of us, literally feeds us, and is also disproportionately getting sick and dying of COVID-19. Where is <br />your commitment to public health and well-being? Where is your integrity? Where are your ethics? SHAME ON YOU.
