Project A in <br />Quarter 1 includes a three day summer camp incorporating peer to younger peer mentoring with social and <br />emotional development through the performing arts. A minimum of 20 high school students from Santa Ana <br />High School and a minimum of 20 students from Heninger K-8 School will participate in the 3-day summer <br />camp. Through the integration of performing arts and soft skills development such as confidence, team <br />building, communication, leadership, and emotional and social intelligence, students will engage in performing <br />arts activities that will nurture and ultimately demonstrate the application their learning. <br />Project B in Quarter 3 includes an 6-week after school program incorporating peer to younger peer mentoring <br />with social and emotional development through the performing arts. A minimum of 40 middle school students <br />from Willard Middle School, and a 120 elementary students from El Sol will participate in the 6-week after <br />school program at one hour a week. Through the integration of performing arts and soft skills development <br />such as confidence, team building, communication, leadership, and emotional and social intelligence, students <br />will engage in performing arts activities that will nurture and ultimately demonstrate the application of their <br />learning. <br />Both Project A and B will culminate in a show and tell for the community and family in person or virtually <br />depending on the covidl9 climate . Students will come together to demonstrate emotional intelligence through <br />the performing arts production. <br />PROGRAM EXPENSES: Program expenses include equipment fees for sound, lighting, av, and stage pieces, <br />fingerprinting cost, costumes, and most importantly staff time to hire, recruit, coordinate, and train for the <br />program. Cost per student is $288 for the minimum of 200 participants. <br />EXHIBIT B-1 <br />
