PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND FUNDS AVAILABILITY <br />This Agreement becomes effective on the date shown in Block 13a of Page 1 of this agreement, <br />United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Assistance <br />Agreement. The Agreement shall remain in effect until the date shown in Block 8 of Page 1 of <br />this agreement, United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Assistance Agreement. The period of performance for this Agreement may only be modified <br />through written modification of the Agreement by a Reclamation Grants Officer. <br />No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made <br />available, in writing, to the Recipient by the Grants Officer. The total estimated amount of <br />federal funding for this agreement is $300,000.00, of which the initial amount of federal funds <br />available is limited to $275,000.00 as indicated by "this obligation" within Block 10 of Page 1 of <br />this agreement, United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Assistance Agreement. <br />5. SCOPE OF WORK AND MILESTONES <br />Under this Agreement, the Recipient shall purchase and install 11,250 Advanced Metering <br />Infrastructure (AMI) meters to replace existing manually read meters. Project components are <br />anticipated to include: <br />• 11,250 meters, registers, meter boxes, lids <br />• Network hardware and installation, software and system integration, AMI tower materials <br />• Meter Data Management System, interactive web portal installation <br />The meters will be replaced within the City of Santa Ana. The map included below shows the <br />locations of the City's water system facilities.
