The City Council finds, based on <br />advice from the City Attorney, that discussion in open session of the following matters <br />will prejudice the position of the City in existing and anticipated litigation: <br /> <br />1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION pursuant to <br />Paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9 of the Government Code: <br />Orange County Catholic Worker, et al. v. Orange County, et al.., U.S. District <br />Court (Central District of California), Case No. SA CV 18-0155-DOC (KESx) <br /> <br />2. ANTICIPATED INITIATION OF LITIGATION PURSUANT TO SECTION <br />54956.9(d) OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE: One case - Potential filing of <br />litigation to recover damages attributable to the presence of PFAS in the OC <br />Groundwater Basin <br /> <br />3. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956.8: <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 1 JUNE 2, 2020 <br /> <br />
