Flores, Dora
From: Nathaniel Greensides <mynci90@gmaii.com>
Sent: Tuesday, July 21, 2020 9:48 AM
To: eComment, Villegas, Juan
Subject: Agenda Item Public Comment - 25C
I am opposed to this expenditure. Many businesses are responsible for removal of any spray paint/tagging. Copy
pasting a contract which the City of Long Beach has for tagging removal - in the amount of $1.6million per year
- is a bit of a slap in the face to residents and business owners who face citations should tagging not be removed
within time frames otherwise they face penalties and fines. Please do not appropriate such an excessive amount
towards something residents are already taking care of themselves, or at least follow the proper bidding process
instead of copy pasting a contract that Long Beach has with a non -Santa Ana based business.
Best,
Nathaniel Greensides
Ward 5
