A-2020-157-01 <br />INSURANCE NOT REpUIRED <br />N A'ORK MAY PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />c� <br />C,' FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />-' ORANGE COUNTY CHILDREN'S THERAPEUTIC ARTS CENTER <br />(24 CFR Parts 570) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />AGREEMENT is entered into this 20`a day of July, 2020, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and Orange., County Children's <br />Therapeutic ArtsCenter, a California nonprofit organization ("Subrecipient"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. On July 01, 2020, the City entered into a Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") <br />Subrecipient Agreement #A 2020-043-15 with Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts <br />Center to provide CDBG Funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development ("HUD") to be used in the operation of a public service program for the youth of <br />the City of Santa Ana ("said Agreement"). <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to <br />increase funds to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2022. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section I, subsection B, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by,$20,000.00 <br />in CDBG Funds for the CARR Crime Prevention and Intervention -program. The new total <br />sum shall not exceed $80,000.00 in grant funding. <br />2. Section I, subsection C, shall be amended to add the specific tasks required of the new funds <br />to target at risk youth, as detailed in the Addendum to the Scope of Services attached hereto <br />as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. <br />3. Section H, subsection A, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by <br />$20,000.00, for a total sum not to exceed $80,000.00. Subrecipient's budget for these new <br />funds is attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference. <br />4. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged <br />and in full force and effect. <br />
