These students <br />will be given the opportunity to participate in our therapeutic programs which focus on youth with severe <br />behavioral and emotional problems. These programs have a therapeutic emphasis that the After School Arts <br />programs do not have. However, youth can engage in both (After School Arts programs and Therapeutic <br />programs). The emphasis of the Therapeutic Arts program is on Healing. <br />Parents - In addition to the programs offered to youth, the parents will be invited to participate in both <br />Parenting Classes and Family Counseling. Families experiencing Crises Intervention and <br />emotional/ behavioral problems, will be provided with weekly Counseling and therapeutic programs for both <br />youth and their parents. The frequency of the service delivery will depend on the specific component of the <br />program and the nature of the problem. <br />For families participating in our Crime prevention program, the emphasis will be placed on enrolling them in our <br />After School Arts, Tutoring and Parenting Classes. For families participating in our Crime Intervention program, the <br />emphasis will be placed on enrolling them in our Therapeutic Arts Program, Individual Therapy and Family <br />Counseling. <br />In addition to the After School Arts Program, the youth will be provided with the opportunity to receive daily <br />tutoring in our Learning Academy Program, and receive academic support with any subject they are struggling with <br />academically, such as math, science, reading, etc. at school. Tutors will be available Monday through Friday during <br />the same after school hours of operation to help our youth on any given day of the week. We also provide tutors at <br />Willard Middle School for students that cannot come to OCCTAC. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
