Staff have identified existing <br />streets median landscaping which has withered due to drought conditions and in need of improvement. <br />They are located at MacArthur Boulevard between Fairview Street to East City limit (State Route 55); <br />Fairview Street between Segerstrom Avenue to McFadden Avenue; Main Street between MacArthur <br />Boulevard to Dyer Road and Warner Avenue to McFadden; and Grand Avenue between First Street to <br />Santa Clara Avenue. <br />The staff requested the contractor to install drought tolerant plants at these four (4) locations. The <br />improvements also include removing debris, trash, and weeds from the existing planters, obtaining <br />agricultural suitability soil test -report for existing soils and ground cover material. In addition, these <br />improvements will enhance the visual appearance and reduce maintenance. <br />1.
