�'uo7F��c7, <br />ORA '6GCOUNTY <br />Training funds may be used to pay the participant's a stipend and related benefits for training <br />experience in the public, private, for -profit or non-profit sectors when the participant's objective <br />assessment and individual service strategy indicate that training experience is appropriate. <br />Training site approval Procedures: <br />Training site approval procedures ensure that the training site fits the youth's developmental <br />needs, is a safe environment for them to train in, and provides valuable experience. <br />PROJECT KINSHIP staff will visit the training site, and fill out a training site safety report <br />depending on the youth's age. They should also present the training site supervisor with the <br />training agreement and contract to outline the training/ learning objectives for youth. <br />1. The training site location must be safe, appropriate to the youth's age, ADA compliant <br />and EEO compliant. <br />2. The on -site supervisor must agree to abide by the rules indicated in the training site <br />training agreement <br />3. The on -site supervisor must outline training objectives that coincide with the youth's <br />development and capabilities on the Training Plan. PROJECT KINSHIP staff will evaluate <br />the proposed Training Plan and suggest appropriate learning objectives when necessary. <br />On -site supervisor must agree to.any edits suggested by PROJECT KINSHIP Staff. <br />4. Approved: Once the training site complies by the three conditions stated above the <br />worksite will be approved for stipend training. <br />5. Not Approved: If the training site or the on -site supervisor do not comply to the following: <br />safety, ADA and EEO compliance, training site agreement and appropriate objectives; the <br />training site will not be approved for training. <br />Agency Training Site Agreement Procedures: <br />Once Staff deems the training site safe the staff will meet with the supervisor to explain the <br />different parts of the training site agreement and complete the documents before the youth's <br />first day of training. <br />Training site training agreement includes: <br />a) Letter from executive director introducing the objective of our Youth Employment <br />Program funded by WIOA <br />b) Training site training agreement <br />c) WIOA youth responsibilities <br />d) Training plan and training site schedule. <br />Training site Review: <br />
