Consider the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Draft Budget and the 7-Year Capital Improvement Program <br />June 16, 2020 <br />Page 6 <br />General Plan. The proposed budget includes $75.2 million of new CIP spending, presented as <br />year 1 of the CIP document (Exhibit 7). The City expects to use restricted money to fund 100% of <br />proposed CIP spending. <br />In addition to new capital appropriations in FY20-21, staff expects to seek City Council approval <br />for carryovers from FY19-20 capital appropriations for projects not completed by June 30, 2020. <br />The carryover request may exceed $150 million. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The Fund Summary (Exhibit 2) includes the estimated fiscal impact for each fund. <br />All exhibits are on the City's website at: https://www.santa-ana.orq/finance/budget <br />Exhibits: <br />1.
