[XXXXX] <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ARTS RELIEF FUND CARES ACT ECONOMIC SUPPORT PROGRAM <br />[BUSINESS NAME] <br />This CARES ACT ECONOMIC SUPPORT PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br />("Agreement") is between CHARITABLE VENTURES, a California non-profit and <br />[Business Name], a small business licensed to operate in the city of Santa Ana ('Business"), <br />CHARITABLE VENTURES and/or Business, sometimes individually referred to as "Party" or <br />collectively referred to as "Parties". <br />1. Overview <br />A. Purpose: The City of Santa Ana ARTS RELIEF FUND CARES Act <br />Economic Support Program ("Grant Program") provides financial <br />assistance to City -based arts -related micro -businesses, arts -related non- <br />profit organizations, and individual artists impacted by the COVID-19 <br />pandemic. <br />B. Program Funding_ The City of Santa Ana has agreed, subject to <br />appropriation, and pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic <br />Security (CARES) Act signed into law by President Trump on March 27, <br />2020 to utilize funds received through the CARES Act Coronavirus Relief <br />Fund to assist small businesses in the City. <br />C. Grant Amount: Pursuant to this Agreement, the City, through <br />CHARITABLE VENTURES, will disburse $480,000 to City -based arts - <br />related micro -businesses, arts -related non-profit organizations, and <br />individual artists ("Grant"). <br />D. Grant Use: The Grant must be used for employee salary and benefits and <br />other business capital and operating expenses directly related to the <br />immediate impacts of COVID-19 as identified in the application submitted <br />by Business. No other use of funds is allowed by the Business. Business <br />may not use any Grant funds as compensation to CHARITABLE <br />VENTURES for any services relating to the Grant. <br />23 <br />
