Approve a Grant Agreement with the California State Library and MOU with SAUSD <br />August 18, 2020 <br />Page 3 <br />A partnership for bookmobile services will serve to support academic success and bring new <br />technology and hands-on educational programming directly to students across Santa Ana. The <br />bookmobile will provide mobile materials checkout, library card registration, and general circulation <br />functions. It will also offer a variety of technology related features including wireless internet <br />access, virtual reality headsets, laptops, 3D printers, and other "maker" equipment for S.T.R.E.A.M <br />(science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and mathematics) based learning. SAPL staff will <br />work directly with SAUSD teachers to develop programs for students and establish a rotating <br />schedule for bookmobile visit locations throughout the SAUSD.
