Directed staff to consider the 10 largest <br />cities, the type of powers each has, number of members, appointers, cost to <br />administer program, and where in the organization it sits. <br />Councilmember Mendoza, expressed support in exploring an oversight <br />commission and inquired about existing disciplinary actions, policy and laws at the <br />state and federal level, and reform propositions from the governor and presidential <br />administration.
