<br /> <br />AGES OF 16 TO 24 WITH WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY <br />ACT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 ($475,000) (NON-GENERAL <br />FUND) - Community Development Agency <br /> <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with the providers <br />listed below, to provide workforce training to youth ages 16 to 24 under the <br />guidelines of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, for a one year period <br />beginning July 7, 2020 through June 30, 2021, for an aggregate amount of <br />$475,000 subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney: <br /> <br />1. OC Children's Therapeutic Arts Center – $200,000 (Agreement No. A-2020- <br />XXX); <br /> <br />2. Charitable of Ventures of Orange County dba Project Kinship - $160,000 <br />(Agreement No. A-2020-XXX) and <br /> <br />3. APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH AMTECH ELEVATOR SERVICES TO <br />PROVIDE ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR A <br />THREE-YEAR TERM IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $957,000 (GENERAL <br />AND NON-GENERAL FUND) (SPECIFICATION NO. 20-068) – Public Works <br />Agency, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency and Police <br />Department <br /> <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with AMTECH <br />Elevator Services to provide elevator maintenance and repair services at various <br />City facilities for a three-year period beginning July 7, 2020, and expiring on June <br />30, 2023, with provisions for two one-year extensions exercisable by the City <br />Manager and the City Attorney, in the amount of $116,400 annually, with a <br />contingency of $75,000, for a total annual cost of $191,400 and a total agreement <br />amount not to exceed $957,000, including renewal options, subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br />This consent Item - Agreement No. 2020-143 was approved. <br /> <br />DRAFT CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 16 JULY 7, 2020 <br /> <br />
