CITY COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Solorio thanked Police Department for the information on <br />homeless related calls and provided feedback regarding enforcement. <br /> <br />Councilmember Penaloza thanked Orange County Fire Authority and Police <br />Department regarding weekend event; and reminded the community of the <br />importance to participate in the 2020 Census that will shape the future of our city. <br />For further information, visit www.2020census.gov. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mendoza thanked staff in the preparation of the budget, thanked <br />Police Department and Fire Department and inquired about the process to add an <br />item to a future agenda. Lastly, asked that tonight's meeting be adjourned in <br />memory of Specialist Vanessa Guillen. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sarmiento thanked staff and all members of the public who <br />addressed tonight's meeting. Announced that he requested City Clerk Daisy <br />Gomez to invite the Registrar of Voters to make a presentation at an upcoming <br />meeting regarding voting and accessibility to participate in the November 3, 2020 <br />General Municipal Election. In addition, thanked Public Works Director, Nabil <br />Saba, regarding the water rates and thanked City Manager Kristine Ridge for <br />providing assistance to the mobile testing effort that occurred yesterday at Walker <br />Elementary School.
