Adopt a resolution adopting Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and <br />Reporting Program, Environmental Review No. 2017-161. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 2020-03. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving Tentative Tract Map No. 2020-01 as conditioned. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br />At its regular meeting on July 13, 2020, and after receiving public testimony on the item, the <br />Planning Commission voted 6:0:1 (Garcia absent) to recommend that the City Council (1) adopt a <br />resolution adopting Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting <br />Program (MMRP), Environmental Review (ER) No. 2017-161; (2) adopt a resolution approving <br />General Plan Amendment (GPA) No. 2020-03; and (3) adopt a resolution approving Tentative Tract <br />Map (TTM) No. 2020-01 as conditioned. The Planning Commission required the applicant to <br />conduct additional neighborhood outreach providing information about the project before the City <br />Council public hearing. On Tuesday July 28, 2020, the applicant conducted a virtual community <br />meeting to inform the community of the proposed project. Two people from the general public <br />participated and expressed no objections to the project. The applicant will hold another community <br />meeting on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 (Exhibit 7). Information about the meeting will be provided <br />to the City Council prior to the hearing. <br />Ada Rose with YNG Architects, Inc., representing Linda La, is requesting approval of the subject <br />entitlements to facilitate the construction of a 10-unit condominium development at 1122 North <br />Bewley Street. Staff recommends that the City Council approve the applicant's request because <br />the project demonstrates high -quality site planning, design, and amenities, and contributes to the <br />75A-1 <br />
