INSURANCE NOT ON H E WORK MAYaT pRC,"TE; CLERK ?E�OUNG4 DATE: t 0 202 0-.CDA(-x("'E Ht rrN c�rgU4X ST AMENDMENT TO THE SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT A-2020-085-04-01 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY FOR THE USE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CORONAVIRUS (CDBG-CV) FUNDS (24 CFR Parts 570) THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT is entered into this 120' day of August, 2020, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and Catholic Charities of Orange County, aC-alifomianonprofit organization {"Subrecipient'). RECITALS A. On May 11, 2020, the City entered into a Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Subrecipient Agreement #A-2020-085-04 with Catholic Charities of Orange County to provide CDBG-CV Funds from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") to be used in the operation of a public service program to provide rental relief for -residents of the City of Santa Ana ("said Agreemenf'). B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend said Agreement to increase funds to Subrecipient, extend the term of said Agreement, and to add new performance requirements to the scope of said Agreement. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: 1. Section I, subsection B, shall be amended to ' by e.amouAt $538,667:00 in CDBG-CV Funds for the Coronantal Relief progrante ram. T4 Subrecipient tt to sum shall not. exceed $705,167 00 in CDBG-CV Funds. Additionally, the term in which the CDBG-CV Funds must be spent shall be extended until June 30, 2021. 2. Section I, subsection C, shall be amended to add the new performance outputs required of the new funds, as detailed in the Addendum to the Scope of Services attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. 3. Section II, subsection A, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by $538,667.00, for a total sum not to exceed $705,167.00. Subrecipient's budget for these new funds is attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference. 4. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
