Appoint Board Members to the Santa Ana Workforce Development Board <br />September 15, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />Presently, there are three members representing the private sector whose terms expired May <br />2020 and are being recommended for reappointment for a full four-year term - David Elliott, <br />President and CEO of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, Marjorie Knitter, President of <br />Moote Group, and Patrick Korthuis, Owner of Sir Speedy Printing (Exhibit 1). Workforce <br />Development Board member Priscilla Luviano, representing organized labor, has resigned. The <br />Orange County Labor Federation is nominating Maria Rosa Lopez, from the United Food and <br />Commercial Workers Union, Local 324, to represent labor on the WDB (Exhibit 2). <br />All reappointments are active and committed to the goals of the City of Santa Ana and of the <br />Workforce Development Board. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. <br />Submitted By: Steven A.
