PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND FUNDS AVAILABILITY <br />This Agreement becomes effective on the date shown in Block 13a of Page 1 of this agreement, <br />United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Assistance <br />Agreement. The Agreement shall remain in effect until the date shown in Block 8 of Page 1 of <br />this agreement, United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Assistance Agreement. The period of performance for this Agreement may only be modified <br />through written modification of the Agreement by a Reclamation Grants Officer. <br />No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made <br />available, in writing, to the Recipient by the Grants Officer. The total estimated amount of <br />federal funding for this agreement is $300,000.00, of which the initial amount of federal funds <br />available is limited to $299,000.00 as indicated by "this obligation" within Block 10 of Page 1 of <br />this agreement, United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Assistance Agreement. <br />5. SCOPE OF WORK AND MILESTONES <br />Under this Agreement, the Recipient shall update its hydrogenator (Station SA-1) and install 9 <br />smart irrigation controllers and 110 high -efficiency nozzles on City of Santa Ana property. <br />The hydro -generator is located at the Garthe Pumping station (2401 Bristol Ave). The smart <br />controllers and nozzles will be installed at nine sites: Cambridge Station, East Station, J. Garth <br />Station, South Station, West Station, Walnut, Well 33, Well 35, SARTC. <br />After review of the methodology used to estimate water conservation savings and hydropower <br />generation, consideration of supporting documentation provided by Recipient, and any <br />adjustments made during the evaluation of the Project, it was determined that these <br />improvements are expected to result in annual water savings of 9 acre-feet and an increase of 64 <br />kW in hydropower generation. <br />Agreement No. R20AP00077 Agmement Template <br />(03/2019) <br />
