<br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2021-029 - To recognize Office of Traffic <br />Safety (OTS) Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety grant funds in the amount of <br />$100,000 in the OTS-PWA Traffic Safety Grants, Federal Grants-Indirect and <br />Reserve Appropriation revenue account and appropriate the same amount to the <br />OTS-Bicycle Safety PWA, Contract-Services Professional and Reserve <br />Appropriation expenditure account. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a one-year grant agreement <br />(PS21042) with the State of California Office of Traffic Safety for Pedestrian <br />and Bicycle Safety Program funds in an amount not to exceed $100,000, for <br />a one-year period beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, <br />2021 (timeframe consistent with the grant cycle), subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br />3. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Charitable <br />Ventures of Orange County, Inc. to provide bicycle safety education <br />services for a one-year period beginning October 6, 2020 and ending <br />October 31, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $100,000, subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />20E. APPROVE AND APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT TO CARRY FORWARD FUNDS <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $275,000 AND AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT WITH EBS GENERAL ENGINEERING, INC. BY $600,000 TO <br />PERFORM ADDITIONAL SIDEWALK CONCRETE REPAIRS, FOR A NEW <br />ESTIMATED TOTAL PROJECT DELIVERY COST OF $850,470 (PROJECT NO. <br />20-6970) (GENERAL FUND AND NON-GENERAL FUND) – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br /> <br />1. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2021-032 - To carry forward Fiscal Year <br />2019-20 Special Gas Tax funds in the amount of $275,000 in the Special Gas <br />Tax, Prior Year Carry Forward revenue account and appropriate the same <br />amount to the Special Gas Tax, Contract Services-Professional expenditure <br />account. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to amend the construction contract with EBS <br />General Engineering Services Inc., via change order, by an increase of <br />$600,000, to perform additional sidewalk concrete improvements, for a new <br />estimated project delivery cost of $850,470. <br /> <br />3.
