Adlerhorst International, LLC, and will serve in the Department's K-9 program; and <br />H. WHEREAS, the total value to purchase Baldur, including equipment and <br />supplies donated by Ms. Scillieri is approximately $15,000. <br />Section 2. The City has declared Pepper to be surplus property and due to the <br />nature of officer's relationship with Pepper, the City Council authorizes the City Manager <br />to enter into an Agreement with former officer on behalf of the City to sell Pepper for $1.00 <br />(one -dollar) under terms and conditions acceptable to the City Attorney. <br />Section 3. The City hereby accepts the donation of Baldur, to its ranks, and the <br />equipment and supplies for this K-9. <br />Section 4. If section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this <br />Resolution is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such <br />decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Resolution. The City <br />Council hereby declares that it would have passed and adopted this Resolution, and each <br />and all provisions hereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more provisions may be <br />declared invalid. <br />Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the <br />City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting this <br />Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this 6th day of October. 2020. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Sonia R.
