PLS, LEED AP, <br />Principal -in -Charge <br />Mr. Fussel has extensive and relevant experience in the stormwater <br />and Best Management Practice (BMP) arena, which includes <br />successful implementation of sustainable design practices for a vast <br />array of improvement projects. His significant involvement in Low <br />Impact Development (LID) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention and <br />reduction projects in Southern California, specifically as Engineer of <br />Record for several important Proposition "O" projects for the City of <br />Los Angeles, Caltrans funded projects, and Proposition 1 projects <br />provide the foundation for his continued leadership in the industry. <br />To date Mr. Fussel has been the design lead for the design and <br />implementation of over $100 million in construction cost. Mr. Fussel <br />continues to improve upon his expertise through attending various LID <br />conferences and presenting the fundamentals and approach to BMP <br />design to colleagues and the public through engagement seminars <br />and discussions. As a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) and <br />Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), Mr. Fussel has ample experience <br />with providing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for <br />construction activities and Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP). <br />Additionally, Mr. Fussel is an Envision TM Sustainability Professional <br />and LEED Accredited Professional. <br />Stormwater Capture Parks Program, City of Los Angeles, Bureau <br />of Engineering, Los Angeles, CA. 2019 - Ongoing. Program Manager. <br />Mr. Fussel is serving as the Program Manager for the City of Los <br />Angeles' Stormwater Capture Parks Program, for which he is overseeing <br />pre -design services for the development of four stormwater capture <br />projects as part of the second largest stormwater program undertaken <br />in the state's history. In addition, Mr. Fussel is leading a programmatic <br />watershed analysis of nine (9) projects to ensure project goals are met <br />and to determine possible efficiencies in linking multiple project sites <br />together and measuring their performance. <br />Albion Riverside Park Project, City of Los Angeles Bureau of <br />Engineering, Los Angeles, CA. Project Engineer and Assistant <br />Project Manager. Mr. Fussel was responsible for overseeing the pre - <br />design services for the Albion Riverside Park Project. Tetra Tech also <br />provided design and construction support services. The project, located <br />adjacent to the Los Angeles River, involved transforming a six -acre site, <br />previously used for dairy warehousing and distribution, into a riverfront <br />park and recreational facility that will benefit nearby disadvantaged low <br />income neighborhoods.
