City reserves the right to accept or reject any price increases, and to refuse renewal of <br />contract if price increases are not acceptable. City may or may not approve cost <br />adjustment requests based on current budgetary factors, reasonableness of cost, or lack <br />of justification and supporting documentation. City will determine the start date of any <br />approved cost increases. <br />V. SECURITY <br />The following security requirements shall be in effect at all times. Failure to abide by any of <br />these items by any of these items by any Contractor's employee may result in removal from <br />the facility and or criminal charges. <br />'I. SECURITY SCREENING <br />a. All Contractor's personnel to work within the facility must successfully complete a <br />background investigation conducted by the Santa Ana Police Department before <br />beginning work. . Contractor employees that do not successfully complete the <br />background investigation shall not be allowed entry into the facility. No less than 45 <br />days before an employee is scheduled to begin work, the Contractor shall submit to <br />the Chief of Security the following information for each employee to work within the <br />facility. <br />+ First name, middle name, last name <br />+ Date of birth <br />• Current residence address <br />« Photocopy of valid government issued photo identification <br />+ Photocopy of valid Social Security card <br />• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal work status <br />b. Contractor shall be notified of any employees that are refused for employment within <br />the facility. The background investigation requirement shall also apply to employees <br />who begin at any later date. <br />G. Decisions of the Santa Ana Police Department are final and are not subject to <br />arbitration. <br />2. FACILITY ENTRY <br />a. All Contractors' employees must enter the facility and check in at the Jail Facility <br />front desk. A current roster of employees with security clearance will be maintained <br />at the front desk. Each employee must show a valid, government issued picture <br />identification poor to entry. If an employee cannot produce proper Identification or <br />their name is not on the security roster they shall be denied admission. <br />b. When an employee leaves the service of the Contractor, the Contractor shall notify . <br />the Jail Administrator's office within 12 hours. <br />c. Decisions of the Santa Ana Police Department are final and are not subject to <br />arbitration.
