We reiterate our objection to this project in its present form as proposed. <br /> <br />It should not go forward unless: <br /> <br />A new EIR Report is required and conducted. An amendment to accept the one from 2004 is NOT reasonable and NOT in the best <br />interests of the City of Santa Ana. <br />1. A new Traffic Study is conducted, including detailed plans and requirements for mitigation of traffic through surrounding <br />neighborhoods. The volume of traffic in the area has increased since 2004 and proposals to accommodate vehicles going into <br />and out of the building are ludicrously insufficient to handle the volume of traffic and increased noise and vehicular <br />emissions. <br />2. The Builder agrees to fund the needed Traffic Mitigation Plans <br />3. The Builder is required to put back plans for low-cost housing units in the building if he is going to get permission to add <br />residences. <br />This building will have a permanent, irrevocable negative impact on its neighbors and adjacent neighborhoods. These requirements are <br />the VERY LEAST you can do to mitigate the harm OBP will cause. We urge you to vote NO. <br />Bobi Keenan <br />919 N.
