#36023v2 Resolution No. 2020-xx <br />Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br /> LS 4.27.20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020-xx <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT NO. 2020-12 AS CONDITIONED TO ALLOW <br />THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FOR ON- <br />PREMISES CONSUMPTION AT RAISING CLAW LOCATED <br />AT 3390 SOUTH BRISTOL STREET <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br />A. Joey Ly with Tait and Associates, representing Raising Claw (“Applicant”), <br />is requesting approval of Conditional Use Permit (“CUP”) No. 2020-12 to <br />allow the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption at the <br />property located at 3390 South Bristol Street. <br />B. Santa Ana Municipal Code (“SAMC”) Section 41-196 requires approval of <br />a CUP for establishments wishing to sell alcoholic beverages for on- <br />premises consumption. <br />C. On April 27, 2020, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public <br />hearing on CUP No. 2020-12. <br />D. The Planning Commission determines that the following findings, which <br />must be established in order to grant a CUP pursuant to SAMC Section <br />41-638, have been established for CUP No. 2020-12 to allow the sale of <br />alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption at 3390 South Bristol <br />Street: <br />1. That the proposed use will provide a service or facility which will <br />contribute to the general well being of the neighborhood or <br />community. <br />The proposed sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises <br />consumption at this location will provide an ancillary service to <br />the restaurant’s customers by allowing them the ability to <br />purchase alcoholic beverages with their meal. This will <br />thereby benefit the community by providing a restaurant with <br />an additional and complementary food related amenity. <br />Operational standards applicable to the alcoholic beverage <br />control (“ABC”) license and conditions of approval will <br />mitigate any potential impacts created by the use and will <br />
