Isolate discovery site <br />1. Work shall be directed away from <br />the location of the discovery and <br />any nearby area reasonably <br />suspected to overlay adjacent <br />human remains until a <br />determination can be made by the <br />Medical Examiner in consultation <br />with the PI concerning the <br />provenance of the remains. <br />2. The Medical Examiner, in <br />consultation with the PI, will <br />determine the need for a field <br />examination to determine the <br />provenance. <br /> <br /> 3. If a field examination is not <br />warranted, the Medical Examiner <br />will determine with input from the <br />PI, if the remains are or are most <br />likely to be of Native American <br />origin. <br />
