8.0 Cumulative Impacts <br />Avion Project SEIR <br />Page 8-5 <br />8.2.5 Noise <br />The 1998 EIR did not address cumulative impacts relative to construction noise. Construction of the <br />project would be temporary in nature. As described in Section 5.6, noise and vibration impacts <br />associated with impact hammering, rock drilling, and blasting would be less than significant, and <br />implementation of mitigation measure MM-BIO-1b would reduce noise impacts on the MHPA to a <br />level less than significant. Additionally, all the projects presented in Table 8-1 are constructed and <br />were required to implement measures to avoid construction noise impacts as necessary. Therefore, <br />when considered with other cumulative projects, the project would not result in a significant <br />cumulative impact related to noise. <br />
