2. Approve schools and training programs listed on the State of California's <br />Eligible Training Provider List to be used on an as -needed basis to provide <br />occupational training under the guidelines of the Workforce Innovation and <br />Opportunity Act. <br />Councilmember Solorio requested staff notify the residents regarding job training <br />and work opportunities through a press release or social media. <br />Motion to Approve 1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a master agreement, for <br />a three-year period expiring June 30, 2023, with a one-year option to renew, with any <br />one of the schools listed on the State Employment Training Provider List, to deliver <br />occupational skills training on an as needed basis to unemployed and low-income <br />individuals for a total aggregate amount not to exceed $2,000,000, payable from <br />federal, state, and county grant funds, subject to non -substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney. (Agreement No. A-2020-194). <br />2.
