November 16, 2020 <br />Santa Ana City Council <br />City of Santa Ana <br />22 Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />RE: DTSA BID Renewal <br />Dear Members of the Santa Ana City Council: <br />I am writing to you as a longtime (4th generation) business and property owner in <br />Downtown Santa Ana, my family relocating to the area in 1919. The purpose of my <br />letter is to support agenda item #12A, the Resolution to Intent to Levy the 2021 <br />Assessment for the DTSA BID. The Downtown BID has been integral in helping <br />manage and promote Downtown and with the current pandemic lets just say its <br />been a rough year and frankly the most challenging in the past 15 years 1 have <br />been involved in the area. As the President of Downtown Inc I can assure you <br />that the services the BID are providing are helping augment and support our <br />businesses during these unprecedented times and your support of this <br />resolution will help work through it.
