PROPOSAL <br />Space Planning and Architectural Consulting Services <br />RFP No. 20-040 <br />Robin O'Neil, PE <br />Electrical Engineer Manager <br />With over 30 years of Electrical Engineering experience, Mr. O'Neil has acquired <br />a great deal of experience and knowledge in the design of various types of <br />Building Electrical systems including power load analysis, low voltage voice/data, <br />emergency power generation, medium to high voltage, lighting and lighting <br />controls, and power distribution. His vast project experience ranges from <br />industrial facilities, hospitals, government, retail centers, restaurants, fast food <br />chains, and office buildings, to various multifamily housing facilities, recreational <br />buildings, and essential buildings, as well as school modernization and <br />construction. <br />Education <br />■ Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, California State University, Long Beach, CA <br />Professional Credentials <br />■ Professional Electrical Engineer, California (E18557) <br />Professional Affiliations <br />■ ASHRAE (Past President, Orange Empire Chapter) <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />■ City of Irvine Workspace Relocation and Tenant Improvements, Police Department Locker <br />Room Expansion, Irvine, CA: The project primarily focused on the expansion of the existing Public <br />Safety department due to recent population growth within the city in the last few years. The current <br />Civic Center houses many department, including Public Safety, and in order to accommodate the <br />expansion, several departments have been slated to be relocated at a different location. <br />■ Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, Yorba Linda, CA: Serving as the Principal -in -Charge, Rob <br />worked with our MEP team to complete the feasibility review of this project and design upgrades to <br />included new duct distribution throughout the renovation area with re -use of the existing air handlers. <br />New digital controls with remote sensors provided optimum climate control for each individual exhibit <br />area. Linear diffusers were implemented to blend in with the architectural exhibit features. <br />■ IT Server Room Cooling Improvements, Orange County Sanitation District: Fountain Valley, CA: <br />Rob was Principal -in -Charge for the upgrade of the existing cooling system of the IT Server Room in <br />the Control Center increasing existing cooling capability by replacing existing 1-112" chilled water piping <br />with 2-112" pipe. <br />■ Orange County Public Works, Emergency Generator Replacement, Orange County, CA: As <br />Principal -in -Charge, Rob oversaw the design services for the replacement of existing generators at <br />several sites. IDS will evaluate the existing emergency electrical distribution systems and normal power <br />interface, check the adequacy of the existing equipment, propose new emergency equipment, and <br />make any necessary design changes to the electrical systems to achieve the required connections for <br />capacity of the new generator unit. <br />A —A IDS GROUP 25G-51 APPENDIX <br />
