<br />BOA Architecture, as the prime consultant, is pleased to submit our qualifications for your
<br />Request for Proposal for: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR SPACE PLANNING AND
<br />ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTING SERVICES, RFP IVG.: 20-040
<br />We are an 8-person architectural firm with a competitive advantage in Public Works
<br />architectural exterior and interior modernization projects including: space planning, building additions,
<br />renovationt retrofit, interior tenant improvements (TI'); fagade improvement projects, and building
<br />systems modernization and ADA compliance in the $20,000 to $2,000,000 construction cost range.
<br />Although we have completed many new "ground -up" construction projects, building renovation is our
<br />industry niche and competitive advantage, Our staff expertise and production systems are geared for
<br />these types of architectural modernization and often "messy" renovation projects. We have completed
<br />over 2,000 Public Works architectural projects for over SO local public entities with numerous
<br />completed projects in Orange County, We have unique expertise in City Walls, Fire Stations, Police
<br />Departments, Community Centers, Parks & Recreation, and just about every municipal type of
<br />building. We can compete favorably with just about any other firm on these building types.
<br />Recognized statewide for its ADA Compliance expertise, BOA has completed the design of over 500
<br />projects for the sole purpose of ADA Compliance, and over 30 ADA Transition plans for local
<br />municipalities and throughout the State of California.
<br />BOA is very familiar with architectural projects for municipalities, having completed the design
<br />of over 400 Space Planning projects, over 300 Parks/Recreation projects, over 50 Community
<br />Centers, over 50 fire stations, 20 libraries, and 15 civic centers, and more than 400 ADA Compliance
<br />Improvement for numerous local governmental agencies. BOA is intimately aware of expediting these
<br />types of projects on an on -call basis for municipalities. Current and recent "On -Call" contracts for
<br />other public agencies include the Counties of: Los Angeles and San Bernardino; and the Cities of:
<br />Carson, Placentia, Irvine, Pasadena, Laguna Beach, and Orange County Fire Authority. In the last 5-
<br />years, BOA has completed over 50 public works projects on an "On -Call" basis.

<br />approach. Consistent with our policy of excellent customer service, we will commit to a 60-minute
<br />response time, Meaning, a licensed architect will be at your office within an hour of your call to meet
<br />with you in your office. Our BOA office is only 30 minutes' drive time from the Santa Ana City Hall.
<br />Edward Lok Ng will be the appointed project manager for your project. Mr. Ng is authorized to bind the
<br />company, submit proposals, sign contracts, and negotiate design fees with you on behalf of BOA
<br />Architecture and can make good and informed decisions to expedite your project. BOA cvtaeurs with
