In 2008, our <br />name changed to Gillis + Panichapan Architects, Inc. <br />We are a full -service Architecture, Planning, and Interior Design Firm centrally based In Costa Mesa, <br />California; our company employs five full time employees. We provide full services, from architectural <br />design, interior design, space planning all the way through construction administration and move <br />management services. We have decades of experience in design and pianning for Civic, Municipal, <br />and Water District Facilities, <br />For nearly 30 years, our firm has distinguished itself by providing excellence in architecture, space <br />programming, master planning, and interior design services. With extensive experience in public <br />architecture, our work includes the design of hundreds of public works facilities ranging from municipal <br />offices, community centers, schools, maintenance facilities, fire and police faciiities, educational faciiities, <br />and more, <br />Gi Philosophy <br />We have completed a large breadth and variety of projects for Public Agencies all over California, with <br />each one being uniquely different based on the respective needs and regional aspirations. Even though <br />building and project types may be similar, each project is distinctly unique to our Clients. We believe the <br />foundation for the project starts with the goals and visions of our Client. <br />We guide our clients into making small decisions at a "step by step" basis with number simple strategic <br />questions that can move a project forward rather than overwhelm. Our strategy of collaboration can <br />provide an overall sense of ownership and pride for our clients in the direction and outcome a project. <br />The client's involvement of every step of the process allows an open door to communication and flexibility <br />while the direction and goals of the overall project are kept under control. <br />With strategically placed interactive workshops with ourclients, we are ableto achieve a better understanding <br />of the client's conditions and needs. We also make sure to consider the anticipated personnel growth of <br />the organization as it plays a vital role when it comes to the overall project. <br />Our Unique Position <br />The vast majority of our company's clients are public agencies, approximately 99%. Most of our clients are <br />repeat ciients and referrals. Also, being involved with public agencies for nearly 30 years we understand <br />that often times decisions are driven by more than just functional and budget needs and there are a <br />multitude of complex decision -making factors. <br />A key distinguishing factor of our firm is Jack's (Principal and CEO) involvement throughout the duration of <br />the entire project. He Is there in the initial stages conducting Interviews and Is there at the end when the <br />project is complete and the client is back to normal operation. His hands-on approach and constant <br />interaction with the client can offer the reassurance that the final product will be the best solution for their <br />organization to function effectively and best serve their staff and customers moving forward. In the end <br />we know that a successful space and master pfan reflects our success as a firm, but more importantly in <br />its ability to play a defining role in the occupants' well-being for many years to come. <br />Our company also understands and takes Into consideration the constant technological advances and <br />social evolution in work collaboration and space planning.
