Legal notice published in the Orange County <br />Reporter on March 6, 2020 and notices mailed and posted on March 5, 2020. <br />1.MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 2020-02 <br />LOCATION: 1037 W. First Street located in the Community Commercial (C-1) and <br />Professional (P) zone. <br />REQUEST: The applicant proposes to construct a new front-yard decorative fence that <br />will total six feet in height, exceeding the City’s maximum fence height standard in the <br />above mentioned zone by two feet. The applicant is requesting approval of Minor <br />Exception 2020-02 as conditioned to allow the construction of said fence. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: The Zoning Administrator will consider whether the <br />proposed action is Categorically Exempt from the requirements to prepare additional <br />environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Guidelines, Section 15303 (e) – New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures. <br />Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 2019 -16 will be filed for this project. <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution. A RESOLUTION OF THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING MINOR EXCEPTION <br />NO. 2020-02 AS CONDITIONED TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A SIX-FOOT TALL <br />FRONT YARD FENCE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1037 WEST FIRST <br />STREET <br />ADJOURNMENT
