IV. Eligible Expenses of CARES Act Grant: <br />Institutions may use the funding on the following eligible expenses that have been incurred <br />or will be incurred during the period of April 1, 2020 — December 30, 2020: <br />Safe Reopening (equipment/supplies/contracts) <br />• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) <br />• Cleaning and disinfecting supplies/inventory <br />• Contracts/Payroll for extra janitorial services <br />• Contracts/Payroll for security/staffing enforcing safety guidelines <br />• Marketing efforts or rebranding to re -attract patrons <br />• Furniture, equipment, and supplies for expanded outdoor activities <br />■ Other reasonable expenses <br />• Technology (software/licensing/equipment) <br />• To automate systems <br />■ To allow for telecommute activities of employees <br />• To digitize exhibits or programming (video/intemet/applications/ etc.) <br />■ Other reasonable expenses <br />New Program Development to adapt programming to the COVID-19 pandemic <br />• Payroll <br />• Contractual <br />• Equipment <br />■ Supplies <br />• Other reasonable expenses <br />• Operating Expenses (Based on Budget Analysis calculated with budgeted expenses, grants <br />received, and loss of revenue) <br />• Rent <br />• Utilities <br />• Payroll <br />• Other reasonable expenses <br />Ineligible Expenses of CARES Act Grant: <br />• Expenses that will be reimbursed by forgivable loans or grants such as the Small Business <br />Administration Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), or other sources are not eligible. <br />V. Grant Application Process: <br />Institution must submit an application by November 9, 2020 at 5PM via the City's grant portal <br />An organization may submit only one application under this announcement. A parent <br />organization may submit only one application for each independent component.
