41" AND CABRILLO <br />WATER SUPPLY ASSESSMENT <br />AUGUST 21, 2020 <br />As shown above, the UWMP and City water planning identifies sufficient water supplies to serve <br />the Project in addition to other planned projects through 2040. As shown above, a small deficit <br />of 391 AF (approximately 1 % of total demands) is projected for the year 2020. These <br />demand/supply numbers come from projections calculated within the City's UWMP. However, <br />as the Project will not be constructed until after 2020, there will be no additional deficit. In <br />addition, as mentioned throughout this WSA, UWMPs are conservative in nature and tend to <br />overpredict demand as described in Section 3.1 and Table 4. As confirmed by the City's Water <br />Utility department, the deficits shown in Table 9 during the year 2020 would not occur due to <br />the substantial decrease in demand over the past several years. <br />FUSCOE ENGINEERING, INC. 55D-34 26 <br />
