The Clean and Safe Program has the <br />ability to address maintenance issues, mitigate homelessness impacts, and provide a welcoming <br />downtown area for the City. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />On August 18, 2020, City Council approved the sale of the City -owned YMCA property to Caribou <br />Industries. Escrow is anticipated to close by December 10, 2020 and the City will receive the <br />$500,000 from the sale at that time. <br />Funds will be available for the agreement with Downtown Inc. if City Council approves the <br />appropriation adjustment to recognize the revenues in the General Fund Miscellaneous Revenue, <br />Sale of Land account (No. 01102002-57071) and transfer of $400,000 of this revenue to the <br />Parking Enterprise Downtown Enhancements, Contract Services expenditure account (No. <br />02718133-62300).
