Basic Housing Authority Meeting Information <br />Agenda & Materials - The agenda titles provide the public with a list of items to be considered by the Council broken down into four <br />categories: Presentations, Consent Calendar, Business Calendar and Public Hearings. Presentations are ceremonial. Consent <br />Calendar are considered to be routine by the City Council and may be enacted by one motion without discussion unless a member <br />of the Council "pulls" an item(s) for a separate vote. Business Calendar and Public Hearing items are considered individually. <br />Additional information of the various categories on the agenda is found on the "Understanding Your City Council Meeting Agenda" <br />pamphlet. The Council is not limited in any way by the "Recommended Action" and may take any action which the council deems to <br />be appropriate on an agenda item. Except as otherwise provided by law, no action shall be taken on any item not listed on the <br />agenda. All staff reports and any non -confidential writings or documents provided to a majority of the City Council members <br />regarding any item on this agenda are available for public inspection posted on the City's website the Friday before a Council meeting <br />at santa-ana.org/city-meetings. <br />In accordance with California Governor's Executive Order N-29-20 regarding the Brown Act and guidance from the California <br />Department of Public Health on gatherings, please note the following changes: <br />Public Comments - Pursuant to Government Code Sec. 54954.3, the public may address the City Council and any other legislative <br />body scheduled to meet on same day and time on any and all matters within the jurisdiction of the City. In accordance with <br />the adopted Santa Ana Council Rules and Procedures (Resolution No. 2013-19) disruptive behavior and profane language will <br />not be tolerated. Failure to maintain decorum may cause the speaker to be disconnected from the meeting. <br />Comments will be accepted by EMAIL sent to ecomment@santa-ana.org and viewable on <br />youtube.com/citvofsantaanavideos/live. The deadline to submit your comment by email to ecomment@santa-ana.org is on <br />the Council Meeting Tuesday by 4:00 p.m. Emails received after the deadline will be uploaded to the City's website at the <br />earliest possible opportunity. <br />DURING THE MEETING: You may also CALL: (669) 900-9128, MEETING ID: 315 965 149# The public can begin joining the speaker <br />queue at 5 p.m. Once a caller has entered the meeting, the caller will be placed in a holding queue. In accordance with Council <br />procedures, calls will not be accepted after the public comment session begins. Callers will be prompted to speak in the order <br />received. After the Clerk confirms the last three digits of callers phone number and unmutes them, the caller must dial *6 to <br />speak. Clearly state your name for the record and your position in support of or opposition to the specific item. Public <br />comments will be held during the beginning of the meeting for ALL comments on agenda and non -agenda items, except for <br />public hearings. Comments for public hearings will take place after the hearing is opened. <br />REQUESTS TO SPEAK SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE PUBLIC COMMENT SESSION BEGINS WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE <br />PRESIDING MAYOR. When speaking, all persons addressing the City Council shall follow the rules of decorum.
