A-2020-158-04A --I' 1 'a, FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND MANAGED CAREER SOLUTIONS FOR USE OF U C DA Q XS4kAc, CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT Vet -L " ) r-.q (CARES ACT) FUNDS THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND MANAGED CAREER SOLUTIONS FOR USE OF CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT (CARES ACT) FUNDS is entered into this 16th day of December, 2020, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("CITY"), and Managed Career Solutions, SPC, a California social purpose corporation ("SUBRECIPIENT" or "CONTRACTOR"). RECITALS A. On August 11, 2020, the City entered into Agreement #A-2020-158-4 with SUBRECIPIENT to administer the CITY's Santa Ana Restaurant and Bar Relief Grant Program. B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend the Scope of Work for the services that SUBRECIPIENT will provide the CITY in order to include issuing grants to businesses on the waitlist for the CITY's Santa Ana Small Business Assistance Grant Program. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: 1. The Scope of Work that is referenced in the Agreement and attached as Exhibit A thereto, shall be amended to add the following: "IX. Santa Ana CARES Small Business Grant: Funds remaining after all eligible Santa Ana CARES Restaurant and Bar Grant applications are approved, will be utilized to issue grants to small businesses with 10 or less employees that are on the waitlist for the Santa Ana CARES Small Business Assistance Grant Program." 2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
